Brendale Hyundai

Issue with my car battery sorted out promptly and under warranty. The "spare parts manager? " was a bit unsure of himself and the conditions of warranty which he should probably be educated on. But the admin staff were very friendly and accommodating and got my car booked in within the week to be assessed and again, the issue was resolved under warranty which I was very happy with

I did go to this dealer to trade in my car and buy a new car. I changed my mind. I was scolded for even bothering. My car was diesel, had low kms and well looked after. I was given a stern talking to about all the manager’s pay he had to pay out to each team - who were all looking on. Not sure if they loved it or felt awkward. No one apologised, no one tried to be slightly kind or nice. I, needless to say, went elsewhere and left feeling berated and intimidated by a man, who if he done that on the street would be arrested for abuse, intimidation and victimisation. I would in NO instances recommend going anywhere near this business! If you are a young person or single woman stay away. He starts complaining about his overheads and doesn’t leave his chair. The whole lot of them are unhelpful and seem to love lording it over anyone who walks in there. I’m happy to say (and I say this directly to him), that I walked out without scolding him in return - which I could’ve easily done, and went and purchased my NEW car at VW. Misery Guts needs to learn that’s he’s got more overheads by giving himself a bad reputation as a horrible boss, bad manager and a nasty old sour faced man. Extremely bad service, rude, purposely unhelpful and shockingly hateful. Word of mouth.

My wife took her car in for a service Monday 4th December and her vehicle was returned with a broken handbrake. We contacted them straight away and have since taken our vehicle back in twice for them to investigate. They refuse to acknowledge the issue and want to charge us $500 to fix the handbrake even though it was in perfect condition prior to them touching our vehicle. We have spoken with ester and Josh who haven't even apologised for what has occurred. The service we have received from Hyundai Brendale has been horrendous and will be letting everyone and anyone know not to take your car there let alone buying a new car off them. To say we have been left disappointed and disheartened is an understatement.

This was a while ago now, so not sure if the same workers are there, however I still refuse to take my car there for a service & don’t recommend them to anyone. Car went in for a regular service, got a call with a list of a few extra things. Gave them approval to do a couple specific urgent things, however upon pickup they had done the items I told them not to do, and I was going to bed up for a lot more money to do the urgent things that still needed doing. Responded to their email surgery a few weeks later explaining my concerns and never heard a thing.

After less than average service from the dealer I purchased my Kona N Premium from, and a call to Hyundai Aust giving me no forward movement… I stopped into Brendale with an engine light on. The young lady behind the counter was ever so helpful and grabbed a tech who scanned the code, and sorted the problem and sent me on my way. No fuss. Above and beyond is an understatement. Will be my goto for servicing and our next purchase also. Thanks again.
